KORN To Perform On 'Saturday Night Live'
October 30, 2005According to a posting by KORN frontman Jonathan Davis on his ButtSexCrips.com web site, KORN will be performing on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" in support of their upcoming album, "See You on the Other Side", due on December 6 via Virgin Records. An exact air date for KORN's appearance on "SNL" has yet to be announced.
As previously reported, KORN will be the featured guests on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" airing Monday, December 19. The live show begins at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET, and fans are encouraged to call in with questions during the program at (800) 344-ROCK (7625). KORN will reportedly join the Masters Of Horror tour, featuring MUDVAYNE, SEVENDUST, 10 YEARS and BOBAFLEX, on December 16 in Miami, Florida. More KORN shows are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The band plan to travel across the U.S. in two tour buses to promote the release of "See You on the Other Side". The trip will include stops at radio stations and surprise live shows.
KORN plan to launch a full-scale North American tour in March.
KORN recently shot a video for their new single, "Twisted Transistor", in which rappers Snoop Dogg, Lil Jon, Xzibit and David Banner play the members of the band.
"See You on the Other Side" is KORN's first album since the departure of guitarist Brian "Head" Welch earlier this year. The group have been using ex-OTEP axeman Rob Patterson for live shows, but have no plans to permanently replace Welch.
